General Cannabis Set to Double Page Views with Latest Acquisition

General Cannabis ($CANA) has a history of acquiring high traffic web sites in the medicinal cannabis world and extracting a LOT more revenue from them.

The acquisition of Marijuana.com is the perfect set up for CANA to work its magic.

WeedMaps Media, a CANA subsidiary, has secured the domain for an undisclosed amount. The site, which is almost seven years old, averages 3.5 million page views a month and has 300,000 registered users.

Medical Cannabis Advocates Sue Justice Dept. Over Calif. Dispensary Crackdown

The advocacy group Americans for Safe Access has brought a lawsuit against the federal government for its recent crackdown in California over illegal growing and distributing in several cannabis dispensaries. The group cites the 10th Amendment and believes the government has been stepping on the state's authority in this matter.
