“I’ll Take a Smoothie And Cover the Numbers Please!”

BarFresh Food Group (BRFH) announced another national client for their unique smoothie product line today. It’s a national casino chain with over 40 casinos and 40,000 rooms…which probably means the MGM hotels since no one else owns/runs 40 casinos in North America OTHER than MGM.

With the demand for smoothies ramping up, this operator followed the path that BRFH has created—instead of costly new machines and training—go BarFresh and get everything you need to start WITHOUT costly new equipment or training.

The trials, which will be taking place among the casino's bars, dining and foodservice venues, are expected to launch this month and be completed in early 2013. A national rollout of up to 40 casinos would be the logical next step following the successful completion of the trial, with each casino representing multiple service areas for the product.

Net result? Smoothies at $7 retail ($12ish for the booze ones) at hundreds of locations throughout the casino chain and $multi-millions in new annual sales.

This is NOT the big contract announcement we expect shortly (e.g. a major national quick service restaurant chain) but it’s another strong national account to build high monthly repeating sales.
